Beginning in 1989, Janice started producing interpretive signs and portable exhibits for clients. Working from concept through various manufacturing processes, she ensures that each medium effectively presents the intended message.
This experience includes:
- Working with planning teams and individual clients.
- Researching a variety of topics, and then condensing the information into concise written copy.
- Coordinating with illustrators to complement text and writing detailed illustration descriptions.
- Shooting, obtaining, and processing photography - historical and custom.
- Writing specifications for silkscreeners, photography processors, and various fabricators.
- Overseeing each stage of production, keeping the client well informed of progress.
