Interpretive Signs and Exhibits

Professional Interpretive signsBeginning in 1989, Janice started producing interpretive signs and portable exhibits for clients. Working from concept through various manufacturing processes, she ensures that each medium effectively presents the intended message in the completed product.

This experience includes:

  • Working with planning teams and individual clients.
  • Researching a variety of topics and then condensing the information into concise written copy.
  • Writing detailed illustration descriptions and coordinating with illustrators to complement text.
  • Shooting, obtaining, and processing photography – historical and custom.
  • Writing specifications for silkscreeners, photography processors, and various fabricators.
  • Overseeing each stage of production; keeping the project on its timeline and clients well informed of progress.
